November BoxyCharm Review

BoxyCharm is a monthly beauty subscription box. Every month you will receive five full-size beauty or skincare products. It is $25/month for the month to month option but if you pay for 3/6/12 months at a time you will get a discount! Here is what I received this month!

Dominique Cosmetics Celestial Thunder Eye Shadow Palette | $35
Kypris Antioxidant Quench & Glow Serum | $90
Dose Of Colors Liquid Matte Lipstick | $18
Tula Skincare Hydrogel Mask | $22
Boxycharm Two Piece Brush Set | $35
Total Box Value: $200!!

What was nice about this box was that I was able to choose one of the items. There were two options and I chose the Kypris Serum. I haven’t tested it out yet because I want to use up some other skincare before I open it. I was most excited to see that they had a Christen Dominique eyeshadow palette! She was one of the first beauty YouTubers I watched and I love her! I bought her Latte Palette (first “beauty influencer” product I ever purchased) when it launched. The Celestial Thunder Eye Shadow Palette does not disappoint! It has some really fun colors and the shimmers are amazing!

In addition to the eyeshadow, I am also wearing the Dose of Colors Liquid Matte Lipstick. I really like it! It’s very comfortable, long-wearing and I found the color very flattering. I also tried the Tula face mask and it was so nice. It’s a luxurious thick gel mask so it was really moisturizing. It’s not something I think I would pay for full price, so it was nice to get it in my BoxyCharm!

I did use the two brushes to apply foundation and powder as well. The brushes were okay, but I think I need to use them more to give my full opinion since they are not the typical style I use. BoxyCharm also included a foundation sample to help shade match me to complexion products in the future, which is awesome! I was really impressed with the overall value of the box, even just a couple items made it totally worth it! I am looking forward to wearing the eyeshadows and liquid lipstick to upcoming holiday parties and events!
