It’s time for another round of reviews on products that I’ve used up! This is a good way to see what I have actually liked and put to the test.
Loreal Paris Sublime Bronze Self-Tanning Water Mousse in Medium
This is one of my favorite discoveries of the past year. It has an easy, even application and no sticky feeling on the skin. It gives a nice glow without looking fake. or orange. I’m not big into tanning, but in the winter it’s nice to give the skin a little color! I wrote a full blog post on this and other bronzing products here! Find this product here on Amazon.
Garnier SkinActive BB 5-in-1 Miracle Skin Perfector in Light/Medium
I have dry to normal skin (definitely dry in fall/winter) so I often prefer to use liquid light coverage bb creams and tinted moisturizers. I have used this multiple times and think it does a great job and has SPF which is nice. I won’t be repurchasing yet because I’m still using the ColourPop Pretty Fresh Tinted Moisturizer. Find this product here on Amazon!
Urban Decay Set
–All Nighter Setting Spray-Great setting spray, I like setting my full face of makeup but don’t always need to. I’m not the kind of person that needs my makeup to be perfect for 10+ hrs. It’s a great setting spray but I won’t be buying it again because I have two other affordable options that I’m happy with.
–Perversion Mascara–Non-waterproof mascaras don’t hold a curl for me unfortunately. However, pairing this with a lash primer was nice. Nothing crazy though. I’ve recently been loving the Essence Lash Princess False Lash Effect Waterproof Mascara which is a look I prefer to this one and it’s way cheaper!
–Eyeshadow Primer Potion-This is ok. It seemed a bit too drying, or maybe it just dried out faster than I expected. Wouldn’t buy this but I know some people really like using it! I’ll stick to concealer for eye primer.
Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles Concealer
This is a great concealer! Definitely gave into the hype with this one. Its medium to full coverage, looks nice and wears well. I would repurchase this again but I’m testing out a few other concealers at the moment! Find it here at Walmart.
Revlon Colorstay Brow Pencil in 220 Dark Brown
Ew. Haha, I really didn’t like this one. The only reason I bought this was because I was about to go on a trip and was picking up other stuff at the drugstore. They didn’t have any of the other skinny tip brow pencils I like (Loreal, Maybelline, Elf). As you can see the pencil is thick and I hate the way it looks and applies. I only used it a few times and didn’t even want to finish it.
IT Cosmetics Brow Power in Universal Taupe
I believe I received this in an Ipsy Glam Bag or Sephora Play Bag. It has a nice consistency to the pencil. You can really manipulate the result by how soft or hard you press. I loved being able to try this out which is why I enjoy receiving beauty subscription bags. Check out ipsy here and this product on Amazon here!
Kiehls Buttermask Overnight Lip Treatment
I heard a couple people talking about this. I think I might have seen this on a favorites list of Penny Pincher Fashion. My lips are so dry in the winter it drives me crazy! So hydrating lip products are something I’m willing to spend a little more on. I put this on my lips before I went to bed every night. I loved it and it actually lasted a long time! I haven’t repurchased yet because I got the Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask Set for Christmas and I’m working my way through that first. Find this product at Sephora!
Drunk Elephant Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil
It was nice but Drunk Elephant is too expensive for me to buy the full bottle of this. This one was in the free birthday gift as part of the Sephora Rewards Program. Find this product at Amazon here.
First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads
These are a daily treatment pad with lactic and glycolic acids to safely and effectively exfoliate, tone and brighten! I received these in my Ipsy bag and they did a really good job of evening out my skin and brightening. I would be definitely be interested in purchasing a full size of these. You can also find these on Amazon.
Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water
I appreciate how gentle, yet effective this makeup remover is. I wear a lot of waterproof mascara and this does a good job of getting it off. I plan on repurchasing this. I do use makeup remover wipes from Costco too. Find this product here at Walmart!
St. Ives Radiant Skin Pink Lemon & Mandarin Orange Scrub
One of my favorite body exfoliators. A must have in the winter. The scrub consistency is a great balance between just coarse enough but not too fine. It does a really good job of scrubbing away dead skin. I love the scent as well, very refreshing and I will be repurchasing! Find this product here at Walmart!
