When the weather is nice in Seattle you have to make the best of it! One way to do that is eating out at a restaurant with an outdoor patio! Whether you are local or visiting from out of town, here are five excellent options that I would highly recommend!
1. Ray’s Boathouse & Cafe
Ray’s Boathouse & Café is a waterfront restaurant located in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle. It’s a three-minute drive from the Ballard Locks which is a great spot to check out while you’re in the area! The view from Ray’s outdoor patio is fantastic! Go check out their happy hour from 4pm-6pm for delightful cocktails and seafood appetizers! Address: 6049 Seaview Ave NW, Seattle, WA 98107
mBar is a rooftop bar in South Lake Union, Seattle! I think this is only the second rooftop bar I’ve been to in Seattle but it’s quickly going to become one of my favorite outdoor patios to grab a drink! The views here are unmatched! In one direction you have the Seattle skyline with the Space Needle, and in the other, you get the water views of South Lake Union. The food is unique and amazing! We got the bay shrimp ceviche, harra frites, chicken kebab, and baklava, as well as delightfully fresh cocktails. Make a reservation before you go! Address: 400 Fairview Ave N 14th floor, Seattle, WA 98109
3. Elliott’s Oyster House
Not only does Elliott’s Oyster House offer wonderful waterfront views of Elliott Bay, but they also have a great selection of seafood options! Of course, we started off with oysters! For entrees, I got the king salmon and my husband ordered the grilled scallops dish. We were so happy with our choices, it was so delicious! Enjoy your fresh seafood while watching the Washington Ferries go by! Address: 1201 Alaskan Way Ste 100, Seattle, WA 98101
Matador is one of my favorite happy hours (I’ve been going for years, I’ve been to at least four different locations too!) They have outdoor patios at both their Redmond & Seattle locations. This most recent time I went for their late-night happy hour and it was still warm enough to sit outside. I always get carnitas street tacos! Multiple Locations.
5. Bake’s Place Bar & Bistro
Not feeling like venturing into the heart of Seattle for food & drinks? Bake’s Place has you covered! Literally! They have an awesome open-air patio with multiple seating options. They have tables with patio umbrellas, as well as more fully covered patio seating with comfy couches & chairs! Address: 155 108th Ave NE Ste 110, Bellevue, WA 98004
